I have loved listening to the sounds of different languages ever since I was little. I have listened to songs in the languages I was interested in.
I created the community because I knew there were other people like me out there.

Over 500 videos in more than 150 languages have been shared. As I listened to the sounds of languages I'd never heard before or didn't even know existed, I knew I'd like the music of languages similar to those whose sounds I liked. I sorted the videos by language family and created playlists on YouTube.

 

About a year later, there were just under 2,000 videos in more than 300 languages. I created this website to filter songs by language because it became difficult to search for them.

 

The language classification is based on the English and Japanese versions of Wikipedia. Some of the classifications are unclear, which may result in errors. Furthermore, languages may be treated as dialects and vice versa. 

If there is little information about a song, the language in the video is almost certainly incorrect. Please point out any errors you find.
